Norwegian Cruise Lines Expansion Project

Entertainers on cruise lines need a place to train and practice while not onboard the ship. As Norwegian Cruise Lines is expanding its fleet, it is also working to expand the studios for its in-house entertainment company. TSC Southeast is proud to have been a part of the expansion for Norwegian Creative Studios.

From a story published by USA Today:

“It doesn’t look like much from the outside. A boxy, white-and-beige building in a sea of other boxy, white-and-beige buildings in a nondescript office park. But step through the glass door of 6322 Pelican Creek Circle in Riverview, Fla., and you’ll find a labyrinth of creativity.

On any given day, more than 100 singers, dancers, aerialists, choreographers and directors are spread across the building’s six giant studios preparing as many as three dozen different shows. There also is a massive wardrobe department bustling with tailors and seamstresses creating colorful costumes, a casting center, a high-tech lighting design room and more.

Dubbed Norwegian Creative Studios, it is the two-year-old home of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ in-house entertainment company, and it’s where some of the most ambitious shows in the cruise industry are taking shape.”
